A special retreat we helped to create on a Beaumaris island on Lake Muskoka. The goal was to create a separate space for both leisure and quiet time. To do this we incorporated a lovely outdoor seating area within a screened porch along with interior seating, cabinets, custom lamps, rugs and furniture. The "one off" custom outdoor furniture, handmade by Pioneer Handcraft, included a marine finish and outdoor fabrics. The indoor seating included a custom L-shape bench made from basswood, an ash games table, and a cabinet for games and other storage along with other complimentary pieces.
